Recent and upcoming additions include:
- Weekly sushi nights—Alfredo, a line cook, wanted to explore sushi-making at Boot Ranch. After a wildly successful test run, sushi is now available for take-out or dine-in every Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. while ingredients last.
- House-made pastries—An on-site pastry chef crafts specialty desserts from fruit tarts to cookies and birthday cakes – and beyond.
- All in the Family BBQ Program—Boot Ranch members don’t need to leave Boot Ranch to enjoy some of the best barbecue in Texas. They can simply place an online order between Friday and Monday, then pick up their ready-to-reheat barbeque meals on Thursday.
- Gourmet coffee—Chef Casey’s latest passion project is working with Texas Coffee Traders to craft a signature Boot Ranch coffee. Fresh bean-to-cup caffè americano, espresso, caffè latte, and cappuccinos are now served across Boot Ranch. French press coffee is also available at the Clubhouse. Soon, the bold yet approachable Boot Ranch medium blend will be available for purchase by the pound at Metzger Market.
Three All in the Family BBQ Favorites
Most of the sides and sweets featured in the Boot Ranch barbecue program are inspired by the culinary staff’s favorite family recipes, hence the “All In The Family BBQ” name.
Among the ever-evolving menu options, these three wholesome favorites never fail to please.
- Rayne’s Potato Salad: This dish is inspired by Rayne’s grandmother’s recipe. Loaded with bacon and fingerling potatoes, this tangy dish quickly became a member favorite.
- Lana’s Four-Cheese Mac and Cheese: This elevated comfort food is inspired by Lana’s childhood memories of family barbecues and visits with her grandmother.
- Robert’s Chocolate Chip Cookies: Loved by members and guests alike, Robert has perfected this in-house secret recipe over the past eight years.
Ingredient Sourcing

Gourmet dishes begin with excellent ingredients. As Chef Casey explains, we use “the best that we can get our hands on.” That means importing some ingredients and sourcing others from local suppliers.
Some local ingredients include:
- Beef from MTXBeef in Mason, TX
- Brauts and smoked sausages from Opa’s Smoked Meats in Fredericksburg, TX
- Coffee beans from Texas Coffee Traders in Austin, TX
- Mushrooms from Turtle Creek in Kerrville, TX
- Peaches from Fischer & Wieser in Fredericksburg, TX
